Splash It: manage ads, purchases and subscriptions

The optional subscription removes ads. It is not needed to unlock more games or categories.

Game content is free. Restoring and cancelling serve different purposes; manage a purchase with the Apple account used to buy it.

What the subscription changes

All 15 games and categories are free to access. The free version shows advertising. The optional subscription removes ads without unlocking additional game content. Current price and available duration are shown before purchase.

If ads appear with an active subscription

Check in your Apple account that the Splash It subscription is active. Then open the app’s purchase screen and use Restore Purchases. The Apple account must match the existing purchase. Do not buy again before checking status.

If you do not want renewal

Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Splash It. Review the period and cancellation option shown. If you do not want a trial to continue, consider its date and Apple’s guidance. Removing the app does not replace this process.

If you need help

Tell support whether a purchase is missing or ads still appear. Include app version, iPhone model and visible status. Do not send passwords or complete payment details. Use Apple’s designated process for refund requests about Apple purchases.

Distinguish game access from advertising

First identify what is missing. Difficulty starting a game can concern player count or its sequence; the subscription does not unlock additional games. Advertising despite an existing ad-free entitlement instead concerns subscription status. Note the view where it appears and whether Apple shows an active subscription. Avoid purchasing again solely to investigate. The existing purchase record and restoring the original purchase are appropriate starting points for a missing entitlement. A clear distinction also prevents a gameplay question from becoming an unnecessary payment action during a shared evening.

Compare Apple management with the app display

App status and Apple subscription management describe different steps around the same purchase. Check the Apple account used and the original subscription status. Cancellation concerns renewal; Apple’s displayed end of the current period remains relevant. Use Apple’s own management and help pages for the current period or a requested refund route. This overview does not determine an individual payment outcome. It helps identify the unresolved question so that a restoration issue, renewal decision and disputed transaction are not treated as interchangeable technical problems.

Prepare support without exposing payment details

Describe the expected ad-free state, the visible difference and any restoration already attempted. Add app version, device and, where relevant, the subscription status shown by Apple. Remove full payment information, unrelated names and other personal details from screenshots unless needed to explain the fault. Do not send passwords or card data. The request should clarify whether the issue involves a technical display, another Apple account or unresolved purchase management. Continue to read prices and durations in the current purchase view rather than assuming this guide supplies them.

Your quick check

  • Active status checked with Apple.
  • Original purchasing Apple account used.
  • Restoration tried for a missing unlock.
  • Current period reviewed before cancellation.

Common questions about this topic

Does the subscription include more games?

No. It only removes ads. All games and categories are accessible without it.

Are prices on this page binding?

The current price is displayed before buying. This page deliberately does not list a fixed price.

Does account deletion cancel an Apple subscription?

Manage an existing subscription separately in your Apple account. Deleting app data does not replace subscription management.
