## The rules

1. ### Deal secret roles
Look at your role individually. Alongside Mafia and citizens, there are special roles such as Doctor, Cupid or Detective.
2. ### Play night and day
Everyone closes their eyes at night. Roles act when called. In the daytime, hear what happened and discuss your suspicions.
3. ### Vote and win
Choose a suspect together. Citizens win when the Mafia is eliminated. The Mafia wins when it equals the remaining players. The lovers have their own winning condition.

### A tip for your group

Give everyone a chance to speak. Look for conflicting statements and players who are unusually quick to follow someone else’s vote.
