## The rules

![Imposter: view from the app](https://splashit.impulse-apps.de/img/screens/en/imposter.webp)

1. ### Check your role in secret
Pass the iPhone around. Everyone sees the same secret word, except the Imposter. Keep it to yourself.
2. ### Give a one-word clue
Take turns saying one word related to the secret. Be clear enough for the group, but vague enough to keep the Imposter guessing.
3. ### Call the bluff
Discuss whose clue feels off. The round ends when you agree on the Imposter, they guess the word or time runs out.

### A tip for your group

Choose a category everyone knows for your first round. A familiar topic makes the subtle differences between your clues much more interesting.
